Mowzey Radio’s father has openly declared his reluctance to attend the annual commemoration event dedicated to his departed son. This customary gathering and festivities take place each year at the late singer’s gravesite in Kagga Nakawuka on the 1st of February, drawing together fans, family, and relatives who come together to offer prayers for the eternal peace of his soul.

It’s important to highlight that subsequent to Mowzey Radio’s demise, there arose disagreements between the father and mother concerning the choice of his final resting place. While the father expressed a desire for his son to be interred in their ancestral burial grounds in Fort Portal, the mother insisted on Nakawuka as the ultimate burial site.

The father, who resumed work after a mourning period of six years, revealed that he has numerous children, some of whose whereabouts are unknown to him. Furthermore, he conveyed his lack of preparedness to partake in Mowzey Radio’s memorial service. As a devout born-again Christian, he clarified that he doesn’t subscribe to the belief of praying for the departed.

In addition, he stressed his unwillingness to step foot on Radio’s burial ground until he resolves the differences with his ex-wife, Kasuubo Jane, who is also Mowzey Radio’s mother.
